The cancellation, necessitated by the public health crisis arising from the coronavirus pandemic, was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie and Executive Director Kara Medoff Barnett. The season, marking the Company’s 80th Anniversary, was scheduled for May 11–July 4, 2020. American Ballet Theatre announced last week the cancellation of its 2020 season at the Metropolitan Opera House.
